Friday's Thoughts

1) Can I have another Spring Break?

2) The Hunger Games movies/book/soundtrack are all good.

3) I had Taylor Swift's song "Eyes Open" on replay. It sounds like NEEDTOBREATHE's "Keep Your Eyes Open." It's like they were on tour together.

4) I have some classy friends

5) Psalm 139

6) If I have to ask, "Is that a t-shirt or a skirt?" You a) didn't look in a mirror this morning, b) did look in a mirror but your mind is mush from reality TV so it didn't dawn on you that sitting would be awkward or c) dumb.

7) I dreamt about my Kat... Imacrazycatguy great.

8) H&M has pants that fit my tiny butt!

9) With some people you just click.

10) Bacon. Bacon. Bacon.

Week Thoughts

1) I started, "The Hobbit." I read it once a year around springtime. It's my favorite.

2) A buddy of mine said this, but I wish I could take credit for it, "This is winter has been the best spring ever."

3) Kat the cat meows for joy when I get up in the morning. It's hard to be angry at her for laying on my face to wake me up when she's so excited to see me. (Apparently I'm a crazycatman.)

4) Had a loverly chat with my uncle the other night. It was the first time we'd ever had a legitimate conversation. (His mustache is what we would call, "epic.")

5) A dear friend of mine is getting married today!

6) I'll be having a roommate once again... Perhaps I'll have two!

7) Pigs eat garbage and make bacon.

8) "When all around my soul gives way He then [and every other time] is all my hope and stay... My anchor holds within the veil."

9) Have you ever just not known?

10) Suspenders have a way of making you feel cooler than you really are.

Week Long Thoughts

1) Kat (the cat) was fixed on Wednesday 'cause she was broken. And is sporting a trendy shaved tummy, leg, and neck.

2) I regularly have two cups (at least) of coffee in the morning.

3) We say we believe x but we act according to y; when will our practical theology match our spoken belief?

4) I had lunch with my 6th grade math teacher, I sucked at math then too. Consistency.

5) My Grandma and I have a unique relationship.

6) The Protestants need another reformation. One away from themselves.

7) Preaching this weekend over John 4:1-42 (yes, 42 verses, buckle up).

8) Ever had a day when you have it planned out and want to do a certain thing(s) but are never able to get to it? Yea, that's been my week.

9) Wichita State University has homecoming this week... One of these days I'll legitamately be out of high school. I promise.

10) India!

Pre-Weekend Thoughts

1) I don’t get a weekend, duh.

2) 5th year reunion for high school tonight… only my high school would have a 5-year reunion.

3) If I eat at Il Vicino enough does that mean I can start getting free samples (and by 'samples' I mean 'dinner')?

4) College Algebra, I. Will. Win.

5) Kat (who was Luther, but is now a girl and soon to be an it), decides when I get up in the morning.

6) I am the proud owner of a real, tie-it-yourself, bow tie.

7) I’m going to India!

8) Mega church’s super pastor more often than not is not your pastor. Listen to what your pastor preaches, he knows your heart better than the guy in wherever.

9) Skittles, coffee, and books these are a few of my faviourite things (and yes, that word needs a ‘u’ in it.)

10) I try, at every turn, to make the Elliott School of Communication like Hogwarts. So far I have Professor Dumbledore and Ron Weasley. (Gimili from LOTR is in the Geology department.)

Thinking Thoughts

1) Found out my boy cat is a girl cat… Luther is now Katharina… Yup.

2) I got a lady friend (like a human lady, not a cat).

3) Bacon and coffee

4) If you’ve never read John17, or just haven’t done it in a while, then here

5) I’m reading The Hunger Games and trying to make them last

6) The Scarlet Letter

7) My thoughts on the whole Mars Hill discipline issue

8) Skittles are getting me through my College Algebra homework (the red pack, not some silly purple or blue pack).

9) Why is the sentence, “Go and sin no more,” not apart of our thoughts/words?

10) The trash truck that drives by my house every Monday might as well be a tank.
